The Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) is a pan-African not-for-profit organisation based in Nairobi that aims to increase the capacity of African academic institutions and researchers to contribute stronger evidence based research on public policy that can have a positive impact on pro-poor development policies in Africa. It was established in response to the declining capacity in political and social science research output in sub-Saharan Africa.

The Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) is offering a 4-day professional development course in Action Research.
This training is relevant to African academics, researchers and PhD students who would like to include multiple stakeholders in the process of research and data analysis.

Applicants selected to attend the April 2017 Advanced Research Design for Policy-Oriented Research are eligible to participate in this elective and do not need to apply twice. Simply indicate your choice of elective in the ARD application form. See the call for applications for more details.
