Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya!  August has been a busy yet exciting month at PASGR:

• The Master of Research and Public Policy, a collaboration of 12 African universities and PASGR was officially launched  – Read more
• The first ever National Forum on Harnessing Data for Sustainable Development was co-convened by PASGR in partnership with the Office of the Deputy President Kenya, Local Development Research Institute, Kenya Association of Manufacturers and other key stakeholders – Read more

Upcoming activities

The year is far from over.  We are looking forward to a number of activities over the next few months, including:

• Selection of participants for two professional development courses that will be delivered in October and November (the application deadline was August 30)
• Work in progress review workshops for two ongoing research projects in urban governance and employment creation
• Review workshops for two ongoing publication projects on social protection in Africa
